Basically, any food, so long you want to cook homemade home cooked meals. Everything is possible with shorter much shorter time, less skill needed. Thermomix itself is a chef, everyone can be a chef wirh Thermomix be it a TM5 or TM31.
Before having own a TM5, I only touched and quickly play through without actual cooking with TM5 back in Oct 2014 in Melbourne when I went visit. Thought they were really similar. Now that I have one at home, it's definitely a new love found. Best deal with TM5 is definitely the recipe cookchip! Step by step guide while cooking is the winning part. No more flipping through cookbook and leave stain on our precious cookbook while cooking. No more overlooking recipes ingredients or methods, sometimes we have tendecy to miss a line or jumping the lines up or down, sure had happened to me. Added water to cook rice, pushed the time and speed but totally forgotten the temperature, with cookchip recipe, once ingredients needed for a step has been added, the screen will prompt to close lid then click 'next', another screen will show the page where 'time' 'temperature' and 'speed' is, and it will be all auto set for us with a message showing to which speed and we only need to turn the dial knob accordingly. Really as simple as that! More kids and men like cooking with TM5 than a TM31 because of this. I myself would definitely would more likely try the cookbook recipe than when I have to refer to a physical book
Besides that, the outlook which I thought looking like a WC.. Now looking really stunningly sleek! Definitely happiest purchase. Now let's start counting how many dishes I can cook. Being Eddilyn's robotic German maid never really get a chance to rest. Well that's because we know that they are built to last.
