Thermomix TM5 Hokkien Mee 福建面

#HokkienMee #福建面 #FriedNoodles, one of my favourite dish. Young days, this is our every night #MustHave #supper. The #PorkLards #猪油渣 makes a lot of difference. Today, with customer's #NonHalal #Thermomix #TMBowl, #cooked this for #lunch. Had 2 bowls and I want more..



Thermomix can cook many dishes and this is definitely one Super Kitchen Machine that we cannot stop using. Unlike many kitchen appliances where it becomes white elephant after some time because possibly we get bored with that particular task that it can do, say a muffin maker, or an ice cream maker, or a breadmaker.. Thermomix is multi-function, everything in one ;)

Instead of stop using, I just using more and more and it's always a new toy, never be bored with. Do share your creation, your cooking too. Myself, I prefer savory dishes than baking. Baking will always needing lots of sugar, on and off, will still make some sweets, but very very seldom. Many people asked what dishes I am good at, or what signature dishes, I would always says... Malaysian homecooked dishes.... It may sound too simple too easy, but seriously not many can cook a meal, especially people like me.. turning old maid and still not married, no boyfriend, and mum still cooks. I just can't cook! Lol.... & now, I think I can.. Yes, I am sure I can! Hehehehe...

Thermomix TM5 Sambal Nasi Lemak


#Handsfree #cooking #healthy #NasiLemak #sambal. One of my first #dish I cooked in 2011 when I first get my #Thermomix when I still don't know how to #cook then. I love it when it feels like I am having a #maid helping to #stir, to brown fragrant the sambal.

From then onwards, I start calling my #WorldsSmallestKitchen my #RoboticGermanMaid and unlike many other appliances which you will use lesser and lesser. This one is totally lovey dovey never stop using..<3 And thanks to my #trusted #KitchenGadget, my journey of becoming #chef #homechef #ChefEddi was all sweet.

Nasi Lemak is definitely Malaysian's favourite, even the MasterChef UK 2014, winner, our Malaysia born Ping Catherine Coombes. Myself, being Malaysian, always love hawker food, street food. This is indeed one of my favourite. Mummy cooks really yummy sambal, but she seldom cook as it is some hard work needed  but now with Thermomix, this is never an issue. No more dirty oily floor, no more seeing mummy dear with her self made apron or more like shields... made out of newspaper! Lol... and she would lay some pieces on floor, cover wall.. Yeah... it does split and splash with conventional cooking, but with Thermomix cooking, it just stay within the TM Bowl and not only that... it is extremely healthy with that low temperature cooking, fresher and more nutrients, cooking oil is not changed to toxic, not overburnt not passing their smoke point :)

Thermomix earned the name of Rolls Royce of blenders and this blender can cook! Since we blend and cook inside the same pot, the same TM Bowl, we always use oil as liquid to blend, hence not adding water, and cooking time to brown, to fragrant, to dries up, reduce liquid is faster too. Thermomix definitely changed my perspection about cooking. Never ever imagine I can cook too and can even make a very nice sambal in no time. No early planning or whatsoever. Most ingredients are ready at all time :)
